So much so that their leader was ridiculed and killed. (No evidence of him resurrecting, so he basically just died.) it’s not propaganda it’s faith. Faith that was very hard to have back then when the dude that said he’d rise from the dead never did.

before i say anything, i’m clarifying now that i’m not a christian by any means. Anyways, I feel like i can understand why many people choose christianity, it has fair laws (mostly..), it has a god who learns from his mistakes after the old testament, it has a promise of a better eternal life after death if you live like a good person and pray and ask some god for forgiveness and mercy, and it’s comforting for people to live a hard life and be accepted into “the pearly gates” when they are gone, i talked to a christian one time that said “I believe in my god because it’s better to live a life with the comforting thought of an amazing afterlife and have the chance to go there because i believed, or i could be wrong and yet i still tried to live a great and happy life full of memories” that same christian also said “I believe in my god the way a blind man believes in the sun, not because he can see it but because he can feel it” and honestly that was a very kind christian who listened to my more agnostic beliefs and which Gods i find comfort in. i see both sides but i feel like christianity, the beautiful religion it COULD be has been tainted by those who don’t truly follow their own beliefs. that’s my thoughts
