@funkypianoplay: Need to crawl out of the corporate misery? Link in bio → corporateliberation.club This is the exact miserable life path of almost every corporate employee And it's wild: 20s - trying to be liked 30s - start kissing some asses 40s - stop ass-kissing 50s - shut up and survive until retirement, 60s — realize nothing of it mattered and nobody remembers you. Isn't it liberating? #officelife #burnout #corporatelife #careeradvice #the128

Your life is outside job. Your job does not define who you are. It is a way of making money. Nothing more. The problem is when your persobality is your job status... Then retirement will be a shock for you

Retirement at 60 is a utopia in NL even when working corporate in a good job… ik getting an additional bonus of 20K euro in novembre… it getting taxed 56%… thats more than half of it… its criminal.. and they push me to work beyond 70

I stopped giving a f at 35, and I am at the bottom of the food chain. it pleases me to see my boss being stressed out that I am not going above & beyond like I did before. He even threated me that if I am not exceeding expectations then i am going to end on "lower than expected".
He can't secure a promotion for me nor give me exceeds expectation during performance review, so his only leverage is saying to me "you should feel pride from your work", to which I replied "I can't pay bills with pride" ...
