Pete ended up firing Apex BB for Boras. Declined the 7 yr offer. Nobody was knocking Alonso’s door down after the 2024 season. He got stuck with the 1+1 then opted out. Baltimore was the only team willing to go 5yrs. Is what it is. Boston and the Mets could turn out to be right and by year 3 of that contract Pete is a shell of himself. Mets couldn’t win with Pete and I doubt Baltimore will either.
