@nickosully: 10 years… I don’t preach sobriety. My story is my own, and the choice I made is my own. The last 10 years have given me a life I’m incredibly grateful for. I’ve made friends who have become family. I’ve traveled the world and experienced places I never imagined I’d see. I’ve loved my family and my friends with everything I have. I’ve laughed a lot, lived a lot, and been lucky enough to share it all with some pretty amazing people. The truth is I wouldn’t be celebrating today without them. So many people over the years have reached out a hand, picked me up, believed in me, walked beside me, and at times carried me when I needed it most. 10 years is pretty damn cool. But when I look back, I’m less proud of the number and more grateful for the people and the life that number represents. To everyone who has been a part of these 10 years, thank you. Cheers to 10 years, and to the power of one more day.
