If you want another year of no glute gains…⤵️ Save this so you don’t make these mistakes 🖤 Firsttttttt things first Glute bridges and hip thrusts are awesome and should be part of any serious glute building program But…they’re not there because they provide a huge per-set hypertrophy stimulus Their best feature is that they isolate (nearly) the glutes which makes them a great tool for glute stimulus without additional quads or hams like you might find in lower body presses and hinges. Now that that’s out of the way…. If you wanna grow a big juicy dumper 1️⃣ Do a lot of lengthened position work like lunges, squats, split squats, leg presses, RDLs 2️⃣ Strongly consider eating in a calorie surplus to maximize muscle growth…but at the very least don’t expect to grow a big tush if you’re always in a deficit or just generally trying to stay super lean all year 3️⃣ Stop program hopping. Stick to a program for the next 6-12 months (sure, cycle some things out here and there) and focus on progressive overload 4️⃣ Stop worrying so much about sensation. Bouncy bouncy band work and pulse squats might burn but they’re trash for hypertrophy. 5️⃣ Rest long enough to keep performance high. This isn’t cardio. Being exhausted and huffing and puffing your way through workouts with no rest isn’t the best play for booty gains. 🖤JL #leanmuscles #womenwholiftweights #womenliftingweights #glutebridge #glutebridges #hipthrust #hipthrusts #glutetraining #glutestraining #gluteday
