@katechallinorbodyart: Some scars carry an inkredible story. 🤍 After a liver transplant, she came to me wanting to transform her scar into something that felt personal to her. Together we created this design around something very special to her — her cat — with delicate blossom flowing across the scar and working with her body rather than simply trying to hide what she had been through. This tattoo was completed over two sessions, allowing us to build the design carefully and work sensitively over the scar tissue. The tattoo was gifted free 🤗❤️ For me, scar tattooing isn’t about pretending the scar was never there. Sometimes it’s about giving someone the opportunity to look at an area of their body differently and create something new around a chapter that will always be part of their story.
