Amid this mire of doom, young people might previously have decided to try their luck elsewhere and explore prospects abroad. Brexit, however, has put paid to that, swapping visa-free European working for restrictions, red tape and arduous and costly visa processes. Here, three 28-year-olds who were 18 at the time of the referendum share their thoughts on Brexit a decade on and explain what a huge impact it still has on their lives.

Well, start working now to get MPs and others on your side. Everyone gets handed the world as determined by the generation before them. I think people try to make the best decision for everyone and sometimes they are just wrong. Look into an associate country status Canada. Would that offer an interim step?
