Tom cruise said that he didn't enjoy making Eyes Wide Shut because he didn't like the character he played. I liked Dr. Hartford. I enjoyed his adventure to satisfy his curiosity on the streets of NYC. It was a witchy monologue his wife laid on him concerning sharing her fantasy about the handsome Naval officer. This must be the best dark film exposing the dark society of strange rituals. Beautifully filmed. Stanley Kubrick was a genious. It is a shame that he died before seeing the final result. Ironically, he exposed an elite society that corresponds with the Epstien cult of the most prominent and wealthiest people in the world.
