There is a joke in Norway that says you need to remember to boil your eggs for a few minutes extra in easter. That is because so many people go to their mountain cabins in easter and the lower boiling point means the eggs take longer to cook.

I think the confusion comes from the fact that both the dictionary and wikipedia state that boiling occurs when water is heated to it's boiling point.
