Aerial reporter Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw were killed, along with a person on the ground. Moreno and Marciniw worked for Angel City Air, which operated the helicopter used by NBC4 and Telemundo 52. "We are going to take a couple of minutes to think about that, to process, and to regroup," Williams tells viewers before the station briefly ends its live coverage. The helicopter went down just before 7 p.m. near the scene of a separate deadly Metro bus crash. The cause remains under investigation.
