Abraham sent hundreds of servants he had trained in his household with Lot when the two split up. He was certain at least 10 of them were still righteous. Abraham went to 10 because he felt safe there were 10 good men including Lot. They were either corrupt or had left the cities entirely. Lot wasn’t great, but he was at least meeting the minimum; even Lot’s son in laws

please note: Lot was NOT righteous. he was a participant. he was NOT spared because he was righteous. he was spared, "for Abraham's sake." But he and his daughters were depraved and became a curse to Abraham's seed.

Same as 2 Kings 4:1-7. Elisha told the widow to collect as many pots as she could so she could go into her house and pour oil into them and sell them. He never told her how many. The oil kept pouring until the last pot was filled. Imagine if she chose fewer pots? She received the fullness of the blessing based on her faith.. based on how many pots she borrowed.

Listen ,I bear witness in my spirit ,God said ,Whatsoever you shall ask ,wait , whatsoever? That is by far a big statement to a son of man ,,but yes he said whatsoever you shall ask ,shall be given to you ,and shall carries an inherent power that holds the one promising accountable to make that thing happen because it's now out of favor ,it necessitates him to bring it to pass ,,he said ,its the holy spirit and the word that bear witness ,,wait ,his word is ,God is omnipotent,is there any thing too big for him ?? Absolutely nothing ,right there ,if he lied ,he would lie to the witness ,and the witness wouldnt obay him any more ,but wait ,the witness ,The word ,is God him self ,which be same Jesus later ,so ,in short ,it's gods trust gods ,,it can't fail ...Let this gospel now be preached to all the world then will the end come !

very deep. thank u. needed to hear that.as this message is applicable to any situation where we require divine assistance, I also acknowledge its specific relevance to forgiveness and how we assess our continued worthiness of it. I think Abraham felt like it wouldn't be fair to ask God for mercy if there were fewer than ten people. And I think with the second situation, where God Himself uses the absolute lowest number, it means that as long as even the tiniest desire for repentance is there, He can totally be merciful! 😊

God the ultimate just judge condemned the city of Sodom. But rather than quietly destroying the city, he still appointed Abraham to intercede for them. They didn't deserve it, neither did they ask for it. Yet God informed Abraham so that he me step up as an advocate for them. He was ready to forgo justice with complete mercy for the sake of fifty, forty five, forty, even ten. How much more He sends his own Son Jesus Christ to advocate for us?

It all supposedly began with two humans who failed to obey God, and somehow their failure was passed down to generations of people who never even saw, met, or encountered God themselves. Yet here we are, apparently guilty from birth because our earliest ancestors messed up. And then there’s God, who seems strangely fond of the whole blood-sacrifice drama. Humanity falls, sin enters the story, sacrifices are introduced, prophets appear, and eventually God decides to enter the stage himself. Jesus becomes the main character: supposedly God in human form, facing temptation, suffering, getting tired, feeling pain, and eventually dying on the cross. But here comes the philosophical plot twist: if God is the author, the actor, the director, and the main character of the entire story, how much of the suffering was actually a risk for him? The whole thing was apparently scripted from the beginning. God writes the story, God enters the story, God sacrifices himself to solve the problem created within the story, and humanity is expected to applaud the finale. Meanwhile, Lucifer basically shows up, snaps his fingers, and says, “Let’s see what happens.” 😆 And Jesus is like, “Alright, time to rewrite the ending.” Humanity: “Wait… was this the plan all along?” 😂

The power of intercession. The primary thing and what God is looking for, is the heart that a has a heart for others. If no one prays and intercedes for the unrighteous and wicked, who will? What else awaits them but swift judgment and destruction. But if someone has the heart or care that they might pray and intercede for them, may God have mercy and spare the many for the righteousness of the few. If even 1 was righteous, God would have relented in His Wrath. Amazing our God is.
