my interpretation is that it is pink because pink is the color of ... flesh, like innards and viscera. Theyre a grisly house and if their sigil is a flayed man, a flayed man would be pink.

I wish they make him wear the pink colour that way I won’t forget who he was in the red waddling I thought he was a random frey soldier and the pink colour would make roose Bolton standout from the other characters looking how important he is for the story

A real medieval battlefield was really colorful to avoid, you know, fighting your own guy. Also I’ve always believed a colorful armor that gets dirty from battle is more terrifying than just all black armor

In the Middle Ages Pink was seen as manly since it was a shade of Red and Red is the colour of blood. While Blue was often associated with France.
