If you watch the full video on YouTube and not a small portion of the clip. You’ll know he explains the body is hotter, because the aluminium and vapour chamber is moving heat from the SoC to the body effectively which is why the body is hotter but the Chip is cooler. He also showed that once the tests stopped the iPhone 18 Pro was the quickest to cool down also proving it’s the most thermally efficient phone.

It’s an aluminum body. The vapor chamber is taking the heat away from the processor not the body. More heat on exterior means less heat on interior on the chip. The vapor chamber isn’t to make it more comfortable to hold but to increase proformance

Btw guys he later explained it’s hotter all around because it’s correctly dissipating the heat faster through the whole frame, taking it away from the chip, which is actually a good thing.
