Back in 2012 when I bought my 2nd Ninja new it basically came out to around $14K. $10,095 plus taxes, freight assembly, prep, tags & 1st year registration ect. That’s $0 down & 3% interest rate 36 months. This where most people make the mistake.. you can’t just pay the minimum payment. People get these bikes & think sweet I got a brand new bike for $130 a month. You need to make high enough payments per month that you pay the bike off within the 36 month term of low interest.. more like $400 a month payments for 3 years. If you only make the minimum payment for 36 months, you’re hardly making a dent in the principal amount. After the 36 months the interest rate will jump to 21%+ & if you continue to keep making the new minimum payments with the high interest, it will take you nearly 30 years to pay off the loan & you will have paid basically double the amount financed around $28-30K on a bike that was $10K. They’re quite predatory credit line/loans. If you’re not able to pay 3-4 times the minimum payment for 36 months or don’t have the money to buy it outright at the dealer.. then essentially you can’t afford the bike
