@sipstudio.design: The space under the stairs was where things went to be forgotten. Boxes, bin bags, a hoover, a rug nobody was ever going to lay again. Now it's the corner of the living room everyone ends up in. You can watch the crew do every bit of it — stripped back to bare board, replastered, new oak floor, then the joinery piece by piece: carcasses, worktop, and three shelves scribed to the rake of the staircase so they sit true to the stringer. First-fix cable before the plaster. Tiles, handles and lighting last, which is why the glow only arrives near the end. Nobody added a room here.
