@jessilynnsta: For those of you who were wondering how much water I drink… it a lot. #breastfeeding #nursingmom #breastmilk #breastpump #fooddiary @Momcozy
I’m sorry, how much water? That cannot be good for you…. In Europe they say not to drink more than 2.5l a day . That’s like 2 40oz Stanley cups

I have to be honest, my brain wasn't fully working when you said, "my toddler thinks they're "regular brownies" I'm thinking "nice" 🌱 then I realized, wait no she's not doing that while breastfeeding! Ha! Got it "lactation treat"!! 🤦♀️😅

the first milk of the day is meant to be mostly water to help rehydrate the baby after a long sleep. the fat content changes throughout the day even if volume doesn't change.

I had the same pump that you have and I never got a really good pump from those. I only used them as “secondary” pumps. My primary pump was the motif luna. I used my primary pump when I was at home (First pump of day, first pump when I get home from work, and last pump of night). I used my secondary pump (momcozy) when I was at work. The key that helped me was pumping consistently and constantly. I maintained pumping ever 2-3 hours, 4 at MOST in between pumps and my supplies increasingly got bigger. I drank beer and Dr. Pepper on days that I felt like my supply was dropping, which was normally around my menstrual cycle.

My morning pumps used to be my biggest pumps of the day. I was also an over supplier. I was told by my lactation consultant that wearables are not the best option for exclusive pumping. my ride or die was my Lansinoh pump. It was not great to be attached to the wall, but it worked so well.

I used to get not great first pumps of the day with my wearables then my LC told me to use my spectra and I got so much more.

I’m ok my 3rd breastfeeding journal. We are at 14 months. You’re doing great. My biggest tips are #1 using lactation warmer massagers and legendairy milk supplements.

you may not be responding to the wearables compared to a manual or a "real" pump. also, add electrolytes to your water every time!

Idk how true it is, or if it actually works, but a friend of mine struggled to get a bigger/better supply and she was told to drink 1 dark beer, and she swears it helped, her supply spiked and she could barley keep up with what she was pumping out!!

If you’re not happy with your output, drink a beer. Just one.

Record his hungry cry. Not the normal hunger whimpers, the one that hits a specific frequency that triggers the let down reflexes of every woman that’s ever nursed. Play that when you’re pumping. I
