When I see posts like these (about Muslim queer women), I remember my ex. She was made out by her mum that she was queer, and then she went through a lot, including religious guilt and we had to break up. I would have torn down relationships and worlds for her, but I would never want her torn, even if it means I had to let go and tear down my own heart. I just hope she’s better now and that she’ll be happier on whatever path she takes

As someone who grew up Muslim and always have been attracted to woman, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t practice your faith and also love a woman. I spent a lot of time feeling guilty until I realized that only Allah can judge you. Islam is for everyone and choose the life that is going to make you happy ❤️!
