Isolating is comforting, cause only you understand yourself truly, your emotions, your behaviour, your motives and thoughts, to others you’re a depiction of yourself which isn’t complete and only portrays a part of you, that even may not be the real you and is just an act to make a connection with others. You’re a different person to a lot of different people only separated by mere perception based on your actions upon interactions with them. they’ll never know the full you. And that’s why i prefer being alone , ofc i have close friends which some know me more than others, whom i share more personal stuff and experiences with which is nice but still not 100% because that’s impossible and that’s okay i like being alone and keep to myself because it’s peaceful and I don’t have to try fitting in while im by myself.
