@thefrightcamp: West Village Eurohostel has one of the creepiest histories in New York. The building opened in 1908 as a sailors’ home, and just a few years later it housed surviving crew members from the Titanic after they returned to New York. A memorial service for those lost in the disaster was also held inside. Over the years, guests have reported strange sounds, unexplained sobbing, figures in the hallways and an elevator moving on its own. There’s no proof the activity is connected to the Titanic survivors, but the stories have followed the building for years. Today, you can still spend the night inside the same place. Would you stay here? #nyc #paranormal #haunted #ghost #newyork
