If you train glutes weekly and still aren't seeing shape change, it's not your genetics. It's one of these 6 mistakes. 1. You're not feeling the muscle working. The fix: slow the eccentric down to 3 seconds and pause at the top of every rep. 2. You're going too heavy, too soon. The fix: drop the weight until you can actually feel glutes firing, then build back up. 3. You're only doing hip thrusts. The fix: add a hinge (RDL) and a single leg movement each week for full development. 4. You're not progressively overloading. The fix: track your weights and reps every session, aim to beat one number weekly. 5. You're under-eating on training days. The fix: muscles need fuel to grow, eat close to maintenance on your heaviest lifting days. 6. You're training glutes once a week and expecting weekly change. The fix: 2x a week minimum, with at least 48 hours between sessions. Shape change is a slow build. But these 6 mistakes are the difference between training for a year and having nothing to show for it, versus 12 weeks of visible change. Save this and check your own training against it today. Follow for more training fixes for women who actually want results.
