@maria2111215: Comet 169P/NEAT at Perihelion soon! ☄️ Mark your calendars! On September 21, 2026, Comet 169P/NEAT will reach its perihelion—its closest point to the Sun. It is a Jupiter-family periodic comet with an orbital period of approximately 4.2 years. Its orbit is highly elliptical, ranging from a perihelion distance of 0.604 AU to an aphelion distance of 4.60 AU. While it has brightened up to around a 10th-magnitude object, it will be low on the morning horizon and very close to the glare of the Sun. You will still need a good telescope and a perfectly clear view of the eastern horizon right before sunrise to try and catch it! Don’t miss it! 🌌 #Astronomy #Stargazing #fact #comet #Science
