@attasera: watching everything turn into flames and ashes, i was hoping i’d be filled with anger and resentment. but despite the tears streaming down my face, nothing came out of my mouth. my head kept flashing memories of how each of these things started to hold a meaning in my life. you’ll definitely recognize this song, since i had included it in our wedding playlist. i remember telling you that i wanted to walk down the aisle to this song, and you said, “boleh, sayang.” it hurts to remember that now. i listened to our playlist until the fire went out. i wish i could write all of my wishes and thoughts here, but somehow, i feel like it would be useless. after what i’ve just discovered, i don’t think i ever truly got to know the real you. you kept so many things hidden from me, things you knew would hurt me. i wish things could’ve turned out differently. they didn’t, and that’s alright. i know you’ll come across this post, one way or another. i wish our paths would never cross again. i promise i’ll do my absolute best to never appear in your life again. in return, i hope you’ll never approach me, and i would appreciate not knowing anything about you after this. dear iaf, i hope you do well in life. i won’t be there to look out for you anymore. no matter how tough it gets, please don’t look for me. thank you for being my temporary escapism. thank you for letting me breathe. i’m sorry for all the things i’ve done.
