Your right because if you read the Guru Granth Sahib ji , it actually talks against the falsehood of Islam and Hinduism . If things look similar that mean that’s just the truth part and anyone can have the truth but Sikhi does say all the religions that came before us have parts of the truth but not the complete truth and also hang onto falsehood . Gurbani is coming straight from got according to the bani.

people with other faiths always claimed Sikhi as their own, because deep down they think Sikhi is freedom, Sikhi is better, Sikhi is open and Sikhi is unique.. that's why they debate but Guru Nanak Dev ji thought otherwise, because his ambition wasn't to consider anyone above or below, not consider any religion as "special" that's he said the word sikh for himself which means learner, the one who is willing to learn, not whose religion is sikhi because Guru Nank dev ji didn't create any new religion but he created a new ideology, different from his parents, it was Guru Gobind Singh ji who gave name "khalsa" to the true followers of Gurubani and the rest become Sikh(a student), and when his study completes, he get Amrit then he became khalsa. People back then had to consider Sikhi as religion because otherwise people kept on considering them as hindus.🙏🙏

Absolutely 100% agree with you. Sikhi is distinctive as a religion. Once you realise the divine and transformed the way to live your life, then the argument becomes pointless and there’s no point on dwelling on this nonsense. Sikhi is and always will be unique and distinctive.

If a person resolves that they want to realize God, they must first understand what qualities God possesses. God is sweet-spoken, God does good for all, God loves everyone, God is always compassionate, merciful, forgiving, and holds countless such truths and virtues. If a person wants to realize God, they should firmly resolve to adopt all these qualities and abandon their shortcomings. Embracing all these virtues is the true devotion (bhakti) to God, and this is Sikhism—which is precisely what makes Sikhism unique.
