@punkncoffee: 'What We Do Is Secret' is a 2007 film that chronicles the life of Darby Crash and the Germs. It was directed by Rodger Grossman, who also penned the screenplay based on a story he co-wrote with Michelle Baer Ghaffari, a friend of Crash and co-producer of the film. The movie stars Shane West as Darby Crash. In November 2005, while What 'We Do Is Secret' was still in production, it was announced that West would become the lead vocalist for the Germs on tour. He fronted the band for nearly five years, touring across the United States (including a stint on the 2006 Warped Tour) and Europe.
