honestly idk there’s mixed opinions eveytime i do research about piercings that are halal/haram i get lots of mixed results the majority say only nose and ear are halal and others are seen as “imitating” or for “beautifying” which can be haram but i personally think if that’s not your intention then get it

Scholars have mixed opinions on this topic (dermals) but they don’t cause you physical harm like other piercings will example : lip piercings can cause permanent you damage (happened to me where the lower teeth will begin to be exposed/ your teeth will get chipped). I know this bc I had multiple piercings before Islam & also after. I have body modifications, tattoos and piercings that will never close bc i permanently altered my body & only through surgery I can get those closed. I got a dermal after I reverted to Islam and it hasn’t caused me any harm to my body it sits under the skin completely fine. So yeah I would suggest getting it, what is haram tho is piercings that cause you damage or have high risks. Dermals don’t

no, piercings aren’t haram. its always about intention though, as long as you’re doing it for yourself and it doesn’t harm you its fine. just be aware that the muslim community might have some things to criticize but who cares, we’re all sinners 🩷 enjoy your life

I don’t think piercings are haram as long as it doesn’t cause harm to your physical health or it isn’t used to beautify in front of non mahrams etc. But I’d really tell you to reconsider face piercings, I had a dermal done between my collarbones and it rejected both times and left a mark🥹💔

the only piercings permissible are cultural ones if in your culture there are some piercings that are normal to have, ears are permissible too bc ppl can’t see them (hijab) but every other ones are haram bc it’s embellishments therefore not authorized (out in public)

Hey, there seems to be A LOT of difference of opinion here, usually where there’s a grey area, its better to stay clear from it- better to be safe than sorry. Theres the argument of tabarruj but also the argument that u shudnt alter/modify ur body which a dermal does. Perhaps ask ur local mosque but id say dont just in case x (dont get ur answers from tt hbbt)
