My mom just passed last night. I’m 21 and quit college to be with her more partly. She’s gone now and I have no idea what I’m going to do without my mommy. The house feels dark and cold without her. So much of my day was spent revolved around her, and now she’s not here anymore. Just breaks my heart every minute

I genuinely fear that I won’t survive when my mom dies. I’m terrified that it’s going to send me I to such a depressive episode that I’ll need to be hospitalized, I hate being so attached and dependent but it was only me and her growing up, she’s all I’ve ever really known. I’m so sorry girl

I haven’t lived with my momma since I was 15 because of custody stuff. I’m now about to be 20 living on my own and my first baby is on his way. She’s my best friend. Literally called me as I was typing this 😭

I was 11 when my mommy passed. I’m 19 now. It’s very sad and lonely and I had to go through life without guidance. But you live your life and do things to make your life happy and fulfilling. I know that’s what she would have wanted. I miss her daily

So my mom and I would watch the same show and call each other every commercial (obvi prior to streaming) but it was so fun or I’d just FaceTime and watch a movie separately together always call her anywhere I went … she passed away 4 years after I graduated college and I still miss her every day if you miss her CALL HER even if you’ve just hung up call her back trust

one-sided family relationships are so hard. because what do you mean i get home, or finish something and immediately think about doing something with her, but the minute I step into her stage, ive done something wrong, and suddenly im being yelled at, so I get angry, so I become the angry daughter who never wants to be with her mam and victimizes herself when all I wanted to do was be with my mommy

Noo this literally happened 😭😭. I got my acceptance letter for collage the other day for next semester and was looking around to see if I wanted to do a dorm. I’ve been talking about it for years, but when I looked at the form I cried. I’ve been around my mom for so freaking long, and had so much fun that now I just can’t leave. And I don’t think I ever will unless I can bring her with me.

lost my mom to a reckless driver my first semester of freshman year of college. she had moved to the city w me and I stayed the night at her place, only to be woken up the next morning by the cops at our door telling me shed been killed. its been 5 years and I still have lapses in thought like "oh I havent talked to my mom today I should send her this" and then i remember. cherish yall moms.
