@growwithrubyk: Before you add another job to an already full schedule, consider learning a skill that allows you to build something of your own online. Let’s say you decide to create a baby shower invitation in Canva. You could design the invitation, turn it into an editable digital template, and list it online for someone to purchase. But here’s the part people leave out: Creating the product doesn’t automatically create the customer. Before you spend hours designing, think about: Who is buying it? A first-time mom? A baby shower host? Someone planning on a budget? What are they looking for? Something editable? Minimal? Gender neutral? Easy to personalize? Where will you sell it? You need a storefront where someone can purchase your product and receive access to it. How will people find it? Your content needs to speak to the person who would actually want the product, not just repeatedly tell people to buy it. And you don’t need to create 20 products before you start. Start with one problem, one audience, and one product. Create it. Learn how to position it. Put it in front of the right people. Pay attention to what they respond to, then improve from there. Digital products aren’t guaranteed or instant income, but learning how to create, position, sell, and market something online is a skill you can continue developing.
