99% of my stress is caused by my chronic illness and the other symptoms that I don't have a diagnosis for. Maybe if they treated my chronic illness adequately I wouldn't be stressed? Nah too easy.

One of my number one pet peeves is god forbid you do have an anxiety disorder in your chart (🙋♀️) any other diagnostic possibility goes out the window. I’ve had 23 years with my anxiety, I think I’d know by now what’s psychosomatic and what’s a separate issue!!

I had a doctor look at my blood work results and then back at me, and then at the results, and me again. And said “someone with results like that is usually in a hospital bed, or really really sick and would be admitted to a hospital. And you are just sitting here like it’s another day to you” and then a pharmacist asked where the elderly person was that I’m getting these meds for, and I was like “that would be me, they are for me”.

They always blame it on the stress 😭😭😭 my physio told me that I was feeling worse because my body felt stressed even if my mind didn’t (I got out the stressful situation and I just got even worse 😭)

They always ask what’s my biggest concern at that moment and then say they’ll do some blood tests but why ? Why can’t it all be my biggest concern?

Apparently the reason I’m in so much pain all the time is because I’m autistic (I am but I also have severe endometriosis including it being on my diaphragm and lung. I’m also bed bound most of the time due to it) this was was said by a specialist :/

A general practitioner at my asthma checkup said I “couldn’t have chronic urticaria” because she knew what it looked like. I WAS DIAGNOSED BY A SPECIALIST. Specifically WITHOUT visible hives. Same lady later got upset at me for not being able to run on the treadmill for a stress test even though I told her before it was scheduled that my physio banned me from running. Also not to mention the fact that I was bedbound for two months with a “cold” (turning in bed made me cough enough to make me throw up, with ethylmorphine cough syrup) and was sent home with nothing other than more cough syrup because I have asthma and a history with mental illness. We’ve later come to realize I probably had mycoplasma and probs should’ve been in the hospital:)

I went to the doctor for an acute issue and even with bloodwork saying I had an infection (significantly lowered WBC), when I said I was still tired the doctor told me that sometimes when we’re bored our body goes into nap mode

I hate the american healthcare system. I had two broken hips since TWENTY TWENTY FOUR and they’re still broken because the doctors kept misdiagnosing me.
