Week one of UGC and consider me humbled 😂 No “I made $10k my first week” story over here. No paid deals yet. A few inbounds, a lot of scams, some very questionable offers, plenty of emails left unanswered, and a whole lot of wondering if I’m doing this right. But I think that’s exactly why I want to share this part too. I’m new to UGC, but I’m not new to creating content. And I’m learning really quickly that I don’t want to say yes to something just so I can say I got paid. I want to build something sustainable. I want to work with brands that actually make sense for me, my family, and the content I already create. I don’t want you to see me promoting a random crypto app one scroll and talking about diapers and motherhood the next just because someone offered me a check. There’s absolutely room to have more than one niche, but I still want my content to feel like ME. So maybe my week one isn’t the flashy success story you usually hear about. But I pitched. I followed up. I built my portfolio. I learned a TON. I said no to things that didn’t feel right. And most importantly, I kept showing up. I’m building this for the long game, not the quickest check.
