#ادةIt starts from within. Instead of focusing on what you lack, start appreciating what you have now. A simple exercise: every day, write down three small things that made you smile (a cup of coffee, a message from a friend, or even a quiet moment). This trains your mind to notice the positives amid the noise. Stop comparing: remember that social media only shows the best shots, so don’t compare the behind-the-scenes of your exhausting life with other people’s perfect displays. 2. Managing your mind and emotions. Your thoughts are what color your world; if they’re dark, the world will look dull. Live in the moment: anxiety is living in a future that hasn’t arrived yet, and regret is living in a past that’s already over. Focus on the present. Accept your emotions: life isn’t constant happiness. It’s normal to feel sad or angry; accept these feelings, give yourself permission to express them, then move forward. 3. Investing in relationships: human beings are social by nature; having a supportive circle is the key to psychological resilience. Quality over quantity: one real friend who understands your silence is better than a hundred friends just for politeness. Giving: helping others releases feel-good hormones (endorphins). Make someone else’s day a little better, and you’ll find your own day becomes more beautiful. A message from a friend, or even a quiet moment, can do that. finally made it to keens, one of the most iconic nyc restaurants 🥩🍷 serving new york since 1885, the whole place feels like stepping into old new york: dark wood, historic photos, thousands of clay pipes covering the ceilings, and even some wild abraham lincoln lore, including a playbill that was in his pocket on the night he was assassinated. we went all in with the wedge salad, legendary mutton chop, t-bone, creamed spinach, and crispy hash browns, plus cabernet and an old fashioned because obviously we had to commit to the old-school steakhouse experience. the mutton chop was absolutely the star of the show. honestly everything about this dinner was exactly what i want from a classic new york steakhouse. there are a million new restaurants opening in nyc, but there’s something so special about eating somewhere that’s been doing its thing for over 140 years. sometimes the iconic places are iconic for a reason #nycfood #nycrestaurants #nycsteakhouse #keens #newyorkcity
