I lost my grandma at 16, my grandpa when I was 21, my dad in 2019, my mom in 2022 and then I lost my dog 2 months after my mom.

my best friend/bf at the time died when I was 18, he was 25. He always told me that I'd forget him one day. He fell asleep at the wheel on the way home from work and sometimes I still tell him that I didn't forget. It's been ten years now and I still remember the day to a t. Genuinely, one day you might wake up and send that one last text and you won't know it was the last. Sorry that you carry that feeling too. Ig it's there for good reason though.

I pray so hard, that when I’m gone, my family is proud I existed. I hope they say some of the phrases I was known for, eat some of the foods I love, maybe even have a blue moon and think of me. Most importantly, I hope my sons want to be like me, but better. 💙

friend passed away sophomore year of high-school, mom passed senior year of high school and my uncle passed in 2023 im currently 28. one thing that has helped me through that is that grief was once immense love for those people and even tho it hurts they are gone what a gift it was too have people you love and care for so much in this life and to have gotten to experience what you did with them because in the end grief if just love reminding you how much they meant .
