@stonewellfarm: In 2024, Kamille took her first Saddleseat lesson in California. Just over two years later, her love for the American Saddlebred has taken her across the country, onto the green shavings at the World’s Championship Horse Show — and ultimately to a whole new life in Kentucky with Chris Reiser Stables. This new chapter also introduced Kamille to Call Me Scarlet (“Scarlet”), owned by Dr. Sally Broder. What began as a lease and a goal of competing at Louisville quickly became something much bigger. After Kamille and Scarlet earned their first championship together, Kamille was interviewed and summed up their journey perfectly: “Sometimes you just have to trust the process.” The pair went on to compete at the World’s Championship Horse Show, placing sixth in their qualifier and advancing to the Championship. And perhaps the best part of the story? What began as a trial move from California has become home — and what began as a lease will soon become something permanent.
