I’m local 3 this is all true, the apprentices don’t make much ($19) but the good benefit is that after 5 years you’ll be making $64 an hour possibly more and it all depends on what division you’re in I’m in division M and I’m a M5 making $37.50 it all depends on certain factors but apprentices have it good because they’re gonna be fully trained and be a full journeyman

I made up a 3 page guide so that anyone who wants to apply can use the guide and follow the instructions on how tp send it out via registered mail. The sooner you send it out the better. You should realize this is the first task, completing this and mailing it out weeds out the less motivated.

IBEW has a 5 year apprenticeship and your hourly wage is low until you complete the program but 90% drop out. Become an Iron Worker instead

I don’t know if was because I was 30+ but pass the test went to interview still didn’t got in ! So yeah isn’t that simple I pass on both Connecticut and New York same situation! They probably choose you at the interview
