I was more impressed on how humble and nice and not arrogant or self absorbed of a professional, he was.Someone who worked and studied hard to be in a position to where he can afford something he's been wanting and finally deserves.

I want ppl to understand what he said about schooling: I am a premed student in the U.S., preparing to go to medical school in the U.S. is likely one of the hardest most complex paths you could take. He said he went to school in his home country and then also having to go here in the states meaning he was probably a doctor in his country already but wanting to be a doctor in the U.S., he had to basically start that process over. Med school in the U.S., is 4 yrs after your 4 yr undergrad. So that’s automatically 8 yrs of school. Then residency is 4 yrs for which you make minimum pay for 80+ hours of work EACH WEEK. He is a specialist in radiology and nuclear medicine so likely another 4-5 yrs. He said 18 yrs… this is before he’s working in his specialty. This man has sacrificed so much time and probably questioned his choices so many times to help save lives and then prevention radiology, so he really is about saving and ensuring quality of life. He has an insanely difficult job and he has to be right 100% of times. He absolutely deserves to have his heart’s desire as a healer. I hope he has a blast with his new car. God bless him. 🙏🏾🥳

My father was a physician who was educated here in the US (Ivy league) but chose to return home to Cuba to help his people. He could have stayed in NYC and made a fortune. Two years after he returned to his island the communists overthrew the government and eventually they took everything. His house, his medical practice and even his car. They forced him to work for a dollar a day for 7 years as punishment for not falling in line with his socialist oppressors. BUT at 44 he returned to the US as an exile and started over. Passed the Board exam and restarted his career in a year. It took him another 8 years to be able to afford his own practice and buy his beloved Audi 90 sedan. This so reminded me of my late father. His suffering will always be in my head. Congrats to this man and all those who struggle for success. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
