Bullshit answers. Easy to raise the problem. Prices went up when married couples started having two incomes. People are paying these prices so they are not coming down. Trump signed an Executive Order to stop institutional investment in single family homes to try to help but it is not a ban. Homeowners would fight a ban. If people stop paying ridiculous prices, the market will get better. If local municipal governments would stop impeding development of single family homes the market could be flooded and prices would come down. Dems complain about it but their policies are always to block development.
