Sharing an experience of 1990. Flew Air Mauritius 767 on my holidays from Rome to Mauritius...the aircraft had a plaque by the door, denoting its world record on its delivery flight from Seattle.... Spent quite a time in the cockpit, as a crew myself and before 9/11 restrictions. Talking about ETOPS with the South African captain, after leaving land over Mogadishu Somalia, I asked, where do we go in case of engine failure? Answer: at the point we were, no.1 was Goa India! We were both impressed and laughed about it.... A new era had began 😏😏😏
