@thegentlebarn: Happy birthday to our sweet rescue cow, Eclipse 🎂🐮💚 Eclipse’s story is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a mother and her babies are given the chance to stay together. Her mom, Maybelle, spent her life as a dairy cow.. When she was ready to retire, her family wanted to thank her for her lifetime of service and ensure she could live out her days in safety at The Gentle Barn. When we brought her to her new forever home, we learned she was missing her baby, Miles. Thankfully, we were able to reunite them and shortly after, discovered Maybelle was pregnant again. This time, she got to experience something she had never had before: watching her baby grow up safely by her side. Eclipse was born at The Gentle Barn TN, surrounded by her family, with the freedom to run, play, and grow into the beautiful cow she is today 🥹 We’re so grateful that Maybelle got to experience motherhood without the fear of losing her baby, and that Eclipse has always known the love and safety every baby deserves. #TheGentleBarn #rescuecow #cow #farmanimals #animalsanctuary
