David did not ascend to Heaven. He is asleep awaiting the resurrection like everyone else like Jesus promised in John 5:28,29. In Acts 2:34, which states: "For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself, 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand."'

Plot twist: Uriah is ecstatic to see David in heaven kind of like the people Paul persecuted being thrilled to see Paul there.

I feel like this is why God says we won’t remember the “former things”. Can’t have all of us up there swinging bull whips, and throwin hands at once. 😏

I don't have an official Bible at the moment bc I left an extended stay that had it, and I currently just started switching from Judiasm, to messianic Jew to christan, what is the story between these two?

Jesus's earthly blood lineage is through Bathsheba & King David. We all owe a big 'thank you for your sacrifice' to Uriah.

don't forget the priests that Saul had Doeg killed because they helped David after he lied to Abimelech the Priest that he was on a secret mission for Saul.

How would David remember those things in heaven when Isaiah 65:17 says, ‘the former things shall not be remembered, nor come to mind,’ and Revelation 21:4 says there will be no more mourning, crying, or pain?
