Please include housing, groceries and health care and also how much lost on wage stagnation. We might be lower gas prices relatively but we are at the tipping point because all of the other categories are pushing even high income earners into barely getting by.

and to think the 3.14 was prolly California. IN trumps first term gas in Ohio, Indiana , Kentucky, and PA (states I visited) were under 1.30. It Incredible how much biden did on his own to raise those prices!

Length of period at all time high matters. E g. if peak was $4 spent per gas a day for 6 weeks is 4×6x7 = $168 spent during peak period > $6 for 2 weeks is 6×2×7 = $84.
