In this day and age, genres are blending so much more that the traditional categories don’t cut it- both in music and tv/films honestly. They should make a comedy-drama category with the amount of those coming out now where you judge them by a completely different scale than a show like Abbott

I totally agree with the bear not being a comedy, it was an anxiety inducing drama with tiny hints of comedy where as I stand toes down that widows days was the funniest show we saw all year. It was perfection.

I mean Abbot and Only Murders are always snubbed despite being the only shows that have kept an amazing quality and constant seasons, well though Only Murders is a dark comedy with drama moments while Abbot is through and through pure and complete comedy

if you watch widow's bay, you would know why it's a comedy. abbot elementary is funny but is this the season to win that Emmy? no. but at the same time they shouldn't have lost to the bear for comedy. I love the bear but this not a comedy. ted lasso comedy. widow's bay dark comedy but still comedy. abbot elementary comedy. the bear? not comedy, drama.

i think the main problem is horror IS horror. and a part of the genre is humor. But the humor in a HORROR doesnt make it a comedy.
