@laraklart: Why do I have to ask for permission to be myself, as long as I’m not hurting anyone? Why can’t I celebrate my victories? Why should I pretend to be humble when I’m genuinely proud of everything I’ve worked so hard to achieve? When I celebrate my wins, it’s not because I think I’m better than anyone else. It’s because I know how hard I’ve fought to get here. And honestly, I’d rather hear people talk about love, growth, dreams, and everything they’ve accomplished than spend my time listening to gossip, negativity, and constant complaints. Your light doesn’t have to diminish someone else’s. And if you confuse self-confidence with egocentrism, perhaps the problem isn’t my pride. Perhaps it’s the way you’ve been taught to see it. Only mediocre minds confuse self-confidence with egocentrism.
