i will rather choose a "mid" person over a more attractive person if they liked me, because just likeing me makes someone look better in my eyes

I’d rather be single and life crying why no man wants me than to live life with a husband who settled for me and wants better

its common to hear how women don't care that much about attractiveness and that's how I see this. it just the bro version of "I wasn't that into him but then he did X thing and I fell in love"

True... Although as a woman I do this with men too. I've gone on a few dates to give a chance to someone I felt meh about because they approached me respectfully and they looked decent enough that it wasn't an immediate definite no.

This is the exact reason why I don’t approach first

YOU ARE OVER THINKING IT. The guy clearly says he's giving her a shot, and that's what he'll do. He is actually IMPRESSED she approached him. Two of my best relationships were with women who approached first; I was actually in love with one

I would rather be rejected by someone who thinks I'm mid. like. just don't waste my time. I don't need your pity

Nah, I get it. It sucks when you put yourself out there but the other person really isn’t feeling it. They could say “let me give you a chance” but even then it doesn’t feel very good because, well, they’re not as into you as you’re into them. Even if it hurts less over the years, it still hurts. But I think everyone needs to get better about accepting rejection (a lot of men in particular though need to improve this skill the most) and just learn that, most of the time, it truly isn’t personal. Circumstances are often beyond our knowledge or control and when someone expresses disinterest, at least they are kind enough to respect your feelings with a proper answer. We (all of us, but mostly men) need to look at this rejection as a gift more than anything. It’s an opportunity for us to find someone who will genuinely be excited about being with us. I desperately want that for everyone, if that is something they want. So, men in particular: I hope you’re able to find someone who loves and accepts you and that you’re able to move through life understanding that rejections are not an indictment on your character but an opportunity for something greater. 😁❤️

"I feel like 9/10 times it doesn't work out" that's just what dating is right? I mean I'm married so maybe I'm wrong

I’ll never encourage women to approach men at all. Most men would get into relationships with women they never like to use them for YEARS.
