Tbh tho, if someone is trying to learn there should be no hate or shade. What you see as a “ballsy drunk person” could just be someone trying to learn. What people don’t realize is trying to learn in the back does not work! Why? Bc when you switch walls and need someone’s feet to reference, you no longer have feet to reference to learn! It’s boring whenever songs are played and only a couple of people know them and then yall wanna judge for people just simply learning! I get getting bumped into and stepped on is annoying but maybe instead of judging, you should just scoot over a little bit.

We have a small bar with a small dance floor and this happens a lot. I also hate when it’s CLEARLY not a swing dance song and they taking up half the floor and almost hits us

I had an extremely drunk like 50-60 y/o woman drag me on to the dance floor to a song i didn't know. I said i don't know this song and she said WHO CARES AND TRIED DANCING WITH ME. I managed to get away but i felt so bad for everyone on the floor. . I was pissed. She did it to other girls too throughout the night. She was screaming during the teach too.

I stay with the opinion that DURING LESSONS: yes beginners! Yes learners! Stay in the middle. If it’s free dance and you are trying to learn on the fly: STAY ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE! There are so many things you can do to not disturb the dancers who worked hard on learning the dance they are doing and trying to enjoy
