It’s okay but I PERSONALLY like this redesign more put heavy emphasis on personally don’t tear me apart but I do enjoy it because it mixes aspects from her design in the 999 trailer while still making them look human

honestly I dont even mind that Aha is being playable at all because... it's Aha they always do some random bs and I think it would make most sense for them to become playable if anyone. What I dont like is the thought that she's the rule and not an exception. also the design looks wayy too normal for her ngl. with how much chaos was going on in ahas previous appearance(yes I know Aha was the shadow at the back) I'd have wished for it to be much more whimsical or creative. her npc version at least didnt look like it was trying to be grandiose and was its own thing

There’s always 2 free limited characters per version (excluding anniversary and the apology in 4.0) so it would honestly fit VERY well if nihilux was free. Defeats powercreep, allows for people to spend if they have very good eidolons, still has the LC to go for, and allows for Elation to be used no matter what

i have no problem if aha depiction art already show THEY'RE more "feminine" like xipe and they release nihilux the way THEY'RE but from the start THEY'RE always just a siloutte of a shadowy figure if you look hard enough with bunch stuff floating around that representing the elation. so when they release this design my immediate thought was "oh so they took cyrene and sparxie and mash them together... " like why couldn't they just make THEM use an avatar puppet with mask figure controling it, like dubra bc that's just a wasted design to not be used, it will make them more stand out rather than just another "women in a gown" (also the puppet could be alice since they're going for AIW aestatic for the path desgin)

Don’t get me wrong I love THEIR design but if sparxie didn’t have almost the same exact design, I feel like I would’ve liked it a lot more, I also with they kept aha’s mask theming, I genuinely don’t think I see a single mask on THEIR outfit

dude im sorry but NIHILUX BEING AHA IS SOOO ASSSSSSSSS. like, dude remember aha's aha instant in the beta? it had this malefic aura to it, this transcendent being thats lending their aid because 'elation' is there for aha to follow. now its just.. this? like, aha genuinely had so much aura to it and it just gets turned into THIS. like, from initially seeing aha get transformed into this bullshit FROM seeing them like possibly put new novaflares behind a paywall? it makes you lose the joy, and then all of this ugly finality bs thats coming to star rail in the next version and patch. star rail is losing that thing that made it so grand, even elation nowadays just feels like it got scraped so fast from it being an entire thing to just some.. quick side planet. maybe im ignorant but i hate the direction star rail is going so much man lol

“The game has a massive powercreep issue” bahhh wrong answer, in fact since Elation came out the powercreep slowed down a lot BUT… the problem is that they’re making theese new mechanics (Elation for example) a lot more necessary to kill some bosses and the hp inflation too is crazy

nihilux design isnt bad, the issue is that she is aha. we have been told since the start aeons are mysterious, powerful, overwhelming and specifically genderless beings that embody concepts, this feels like its throwing away the core of what aeons are. aha was always ambiguous and mysterious, they have many faces and we dont know what the real one is, making an aeon just a girl feels like its throwing part of the lore out, if she was mask and we had different masks with different genders itd be better for the "aeons really are anything and arent bound by gender" even tho id prefer playable aeons to be mostly androgynous and still use they/them pronouns

I don't understand why people are upset because why would you keep Phainon relevant in ALL content? Players would never pull again. Also, Sleepy already did this to Phainon so it's nothing new. Also ANYONE who grabbed Cipher is fine because the new boss is crippled by her Ult mechanic. This is a COMPANY that wants MONEY. Besides, Aha is likely to follow Cyrene's (A pseudo Aeon when she released) lead in being perfect for Elation teams, but HEAVILY suboptimal outside of that. Also Aha was shown to be the most fascinated with humanity, of course THEY would take a human form. This game has enough issues, no need to make them up.
