Honestly as a Raiders fan, regardless of how Cousins does on the field, I will be grateful for him giving Mendoza a chance to actually learn on a professional level. Like this was the best move the Raiders have done in a very long time.

Teach this kid how to play. You can extend your own career by being a veteran teaching backup. The way you teach is also valuable if you want to jump in the broadcast booth or be on the sidelines as QB coach, then OC, then HC. You don’t have to leave the game because you’re not 29 anymore
