Yeah I had a gun (disappear) once sucks because it was my grandmothers gun I had been given after her death cops played stupid and acted like they didn’t even care I was in a motorcycle accident broke my shoulder the gun was there and when I got my stuff back everything but the gun was there when I asked nobody even cared didn’t ask any questions just completely blew it off! There’s plenty of reasons people don’t trust law enforcement and there needs to be a lot more accountability and cameras that record non stop no off button. The cameras shouldn’t be accessed by departments but by a third party that would limit their ability to tamper with evidence, law enforcement has been given too much freedom to do as they please and given access to things they are abusing. They think they are judge, jury and executioner backed by other corrupted government officials who just take their word for it. It’s time to do something because the the citizens are sick of it. Trust begins with accountability, action, and transparency not lawless corruption, lies, and the ability to tamper with or to flat out ignore evidence. Since the very start of law enforcement there have been countless instances of unlawful conduct and shady tactics. In my opinion from every experience I’ve ever had with law enforcement is they absolutely cannot be trusted
