Chefs are always weird or just terrible people with anger issues. I worked in a pub at 17 and the chef reversed into the door of my car and tried to do a runner, some builders in the garden saw it and he had to come back for his shift, dunno what was going through his head💀

We had a saying that “ it wouldn’t be a good summer if we didn’t have a pub p3do”. This refers to a member of staff being the p3do because it was so common for us to have one every summer at the pub I worked at. One cheat got done done by the p3do hunters mid shift and I wish I was lying 🤦♀️😂

Poundland paying me £5.26/hour in 2019, not giving me shifts longer than 5 hours (with a 30 minute break deducted they never let me take) and my boss shouting swear words in Arabic at me and threatening to put rockets up my arse because I couldn’t replenish a massive drinks chiller in 10 minutes and I didn’t face up to his expectations
