@frjoshjohnson: Man I love being the pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus!!! Today after our school Mass, our kids, their parents and our teachers had the opportunity to venerate a first class relic of the blood of Saint John Paul II because of the generosity of the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary and it was such a gift! I stood there watching our students come up to pray and I just kept thanking Jesus for what He is doing at Sacred Heart. Already this has been such a good school year and there is so much joy in our school right now and we already have kids who aren’t Catholic asking to become Catholic and receive the sacraments. Last year we had a significant number teachers come into the Church and now Jesus is already stirring things up in the hearts of our kids and I just love it! Today I asked Saint John Paul II to pray for all of our kids, our teachers, our sisters, our seminarians, our families and our whole neighborhood. I desire Sacred Heart to be a holy place where people walk on this campus and encounter Jesus Christ. I pray our families are strengthened here and I hope they fall in love with the Eucharist. Basically I want our kids to become saints and today we got to ask a saint who loved young people so much to pray with us for all of these graces! Saint John Paul II, thanks for praying with us to Jesus for our students!
