@hrnaeatz: I am and will always be proud to be Mexican, but the truth is that for some ppl things happen in our lives that sever our connection to our culture. For a long time I felt a void, and so I made it a point to rebuild the connection to my heritage that I love so much. I started by learning all about the recipes that have been passed down for generations, and the more I learned the more I felt that connection strengthening. To me being Mexican means being proud, kind, caring, community based, outspoken, resilient, and most importantly, it means being unapologetically yourself. If that resonates with you then follow along because we’re relearning old traditions & starting new ones. Happy Hispanic Heritage Month Babe 🤍🇲🇽 #hispanicheritagemonth
