I still don’t have any African cousins yet. Maybe they’re just too far back for me? My largest African percentage is Liberia area and not Nigerian. I was surprised because they seem to just lump everyone under Nigerian

I did this exact same thing (I did it for Ghana, too), and not a single person they listed as a match was from Nigeria nor Ghana (a ton of yt Americans were in there, too), except for a couple of bi-ethnics lol. Just for fun, I did the same for India, and I had matches that showed up there who weren't from India!

In order for them to tell me I have Nigerian DNA means they would have had to test actual Nigerians but all the DNA matches coming in are what????? Black American!!! I’m actually surprised I hadn’t noticed this.

I don’t have not one African match! Also every few years they take something off then a few years later put it right back like now for the 3rd time they took away my Scottish and Irish it says 0% but it it’s usually 3-5% they also took away my Norway and added Native American

We haven’t gotten one hit for any cousins in these areas either. I read after 10 generations it’s pretty much near impossible to match. I don’t know if that’s right but someone can correct me.
